I am running the myIclub accounting program.
At one time, we were told not to post "any" transactions on the last day of the month? We are thinking using the BrokerSync function and wondering if entries posted by TDA on the last day of the month would be an issue when we sync with TDA.

The true issue is not having transactions posted on the last day of the month but having transactions posted on the same day as a valuation. In the past having a valuation saved on a particular day and having other transactions posted the same day could interfere with valuing the club. This is more likely to be an issue with the desktop version,Club Accounting 3. It is much less likely to be an issue with Myiclub. However, just to be sure there are no problems, we have kept the recommendation that no transactions be entered with the same date as a valuation.
You should have no problem with end-of-the-month transactions coming in from broker downloads if you do not use the end of the month for your valuation date.
If you do use the end of the month for valuations you could get around the possible issue by either editing transaction to one day before the end of the month or moving your valuation date to the first of the next month. You could even use the end of month prices but date the valuation on the first. This would be more work as you may not be able to use downloaded prices as easily.
