 Capture.pdf (131kb) downloaded 0 time(s).Looking at the Canadian TSE stock Alimentation Couche-Tarde TSE ATD.B.TO FY end is April 30th. Look at the attached captures of the data. It shows the last full fiscal year as 2015 which is off by a year. All of the annual data is off by one year, i.e. data in 2015 should be 2016 and so on. Changing the Fiscal 2016 Ends: radio on the quarterly data tab to April 2016 instead of April 2017 makes it even worse. Reported quarterly data ends up out by a year. Corporate web site backs up this is a mistake. It shows last annual data is for 2016 not 2015. How do I fix this?

Hello!
For fiscal years that end between Jan. 1 and May 31, Morninstar (our data provider) assigns the previous calendar year as the date of the fiscal year. This is because the bulk of the financial activity occurred in the previous calendar year.
All of the data should be up to date, it's just that due to the way Morningstar assigns the fiscal year, it will appear as if it is behind.
