The original story is located at http://www.news.com/SEC-Web-site-gives-new-view-of-company-data/2100-1038_3-6230845.html

Basically, the SEC is trying out a new reporting format for their data. They only have a few companies loaded so far, but they have a nice presentation format and they are adopting a standard named XBRL for the data off the site.

The site is located at http://209.234.225.154/viewer/home/ - take a look!
