Would like to know how clubs chose their online accounting program and why?

I started out with the NAIC accounting program which was good. Then the NAIC on-line which was better. But it still required a lot of gathering of information and posting and remembering whether you had posted everything or not. You had to keep up with a lot. We had a CPA in our club that did our tax return for us, so at least I didn't have to worry with that.

Hello,

We have checked with the state, and they do have an option for a waiver, that clubs can submit, to be allowed to file by paper. We have posted a link to the form, along with some suggested text, on our web site at:

https://www.iclub.com/taxes/az.asp

There are also links in the tax printer user guide, and on the generated forms page for the AZ state tax printer.

This page lists some of the key features any investment club should consider when choosing software for their investment club accounting and operations: Investment Club Accounting Comparison

myICLUB.com has roots that go back to the 1990s when it was first developed as a desktop program. It has since evolved to be the most popular tool used by investment clubs today for their bookkeeping and accounting, as well as for other important investment club operations, and has the biggest feature set of any accounting tool.
