Return at the Buy Price Concepts

"Total Return" is the compounded, annual return that you might expect from both dividend income and price appreciation. If you buy the stock at its buy price, your potential total return would be at least 14.9 percent. This doesn't mean you can count on it; but it does indicate that there is a potential for this kind of reward.

Return at the Current Price

Also of interest is the total return you might expect if you purchase the stock at the price it's now selling for. If the current price is above the buy price, the total return will be framed in red to indicate that the potential return is too low and the price too high.
