The worksheet is the consolidation of all of the items in the stock study and, for those not fortunate enough to yet have a computer, is intended to guide one through the necessary steps to do a study without. Though it may look bewildering to a newcomer—mostly because of the instructions and equations—taken one section at a time, it's quite simple. This worksheet is described in detail in Take Stock: A Roadmap to Profiting from your First Walk Down Wall Street, and that is the best place to go to understand it completely. But, for now, here's enough information about it to help you get oriented and familiar with it.
At the top of both the front and back pages you'll find, in table form, the data that's required for the calculations on the page.
You'll also note that some of the fields in the body of the form are yellow instead of white. These are fields where Take Stock has made conservative estimates.
