JUST A REMINDER : tune in to Take Stock with Ellis Traub at 7:30PM Eastern, 6:30 Central

Call (347) 857-3608 to listen. Normally you’d be able to dial “1” to join the chat. But there won’t be any callers this evening. We’re going to talk about the only three occasions when you might want to sell a stock. And, again—but for the last time—we’re using the whole half-hour this evening. This will be the last broadcast when I don’t accept calls.

Beginning next Thursday evening, Calls will be accepted throughout the broadcast. The

Show will have about five or six segments—maybe—depending on how much conversation any one of them stirs up. If the first one arouses a good exchange of ideas, we’ll stay with it until it’s obviously time to move on to something else.

I got a favorable response to the notion of a panel show and will try to put that together,  perhaps not as a regular thing, but to see what kind of response it gets and, if it flies, we can do it again, as the spirit moves us.

Next Thursday, October 8^th, is going to be a busy day. That morning, at 9:00AM Eastern (10:00AM Central) , I’m going to be a guest on Brad Hensley’s Breakfast With Bradley

show on the same on-line network. And, of course, my own show will be on that evening.

TOMORROW AT NOON: I’m invited to be Brad Hensley’s guest on his popular talk show

also on BlogTalkRadio. This will be at 12:00Noon Eastern, 9:30 Pacific time. Check out
“Breakfast with Brad” for details. Brad’s an excellent host and I’m hoping to learn a lot

about how to host a show from him. This is a great step forward in my crusade to get

the world to think differently about what investing really means. The only way we’re

going to see the number of people we can reach swell is to change that perception and

convince them that the stock market is a scary place for good reason. But investing in

the ownership of solid companies is not…also for good reason. To get a talk show host

like Brad to take an interest in this effort is a step forward. His reputation and practice

is to try to be “all things to all people” and not commit to any one methodology. But

he seems very enthusiastic about learning more about our way of thinking.

Note that you do not have to dial “1” to listen. I frequently have a lineup of callers whose
phone numbers show up in the queue, but who don’t really want to be on the air. If you
should decide to join the conversation, you can dial a “1” at any time the spirit moves you
and I’ll see that you’re waiting.

This broadcast begins a new format. We encourage conversation and congeniality. Calls will

be accepted throughout the broadcast. And, for the first time, I’m just going to “wing it,” and

count on you to guide the direction of the conversation so we’ll be sure to talk about the things
