When I post, my rambles usually last several paragraphs, and I type as such. However, none of this shows up when I submit the post - it's appears as just one long Faulkner-esque mammoth paragraph. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to code the paragraph breaks in HTML? EDIT: See, it happened again. I started a new paragraph with "Am I doing something..." and it didn't show up.

Hmmm.

This should be a second paragraph.

This a third ...

When using the editor, make sure that you are using the "Design" tab and not the "HTML" tab.  When working in the Design tab, what you see should be what you get.  (and this should be the fourth paragraph.)

I figured out the problem. The editor doesn't show up at all when using Safari (which I use, because Macs are cool). It's just a text box, and I'm reasonably sure it's defaulted to HTML - I'm coding it that way now, and it works.

Full Safari support probably isn't high on the punch list, but it's something to keep in mind.

What's a Mac?  I keep seeing these weird commercials with the guy from Ed saying he's a 'Mac'.  Something about a magnetic plug.  Weird.

It's what all the cool kids are using. You, like, don't get viruses and stuff! It's wicked awesome!

Ahh...that sounds sweet!  One question - will this Mac thingie run Toolkit??

Actually, mine WILL run Toolkit, and any other Windoze program. There are a variety of solutions, both emulation and virtualization-based.

The most elegant so far is the Parallels emulator software, which allows you to run Windows (or any other operating system) in it's own window on the Mac OSX desktop. It's similar to the Virtual PC experience, with one very important difference - since it's emulation instead of virtualization, it runs as a separate OS, not as if it's a program within OSX. Imagine your computer running several operating systems simultaneously, and interacting with one another not as if they're all on the same machine, but as if they're completely different computers on the same network.

Plus, you get the whole Macs-don't-get-viruses (virii? can we get a ruling here?)-or-spyware thing, which is nice.
