For 16 years, CompuFest was the leading national educational conference for investors who were interested in how to use computers, software, and the Internet to research and analyze stocks. When CompuFest was discontinued by the powers that be at NAIC, the group of volunteers who had been committed to organizing the event for so many years decided that it would be a shame to let that stellar track record be flushed down the drain.
And so was born InvestEd -- long-term investing education at its best! This year, InvestEd will be held in sunny Costa Mesa, CA (that's right between Los Angeles and Anaheim), August 17-19, 2007. The conference's comprehensive curriculum reaches out to investors at all levels of expertise, with a Newbie track for neophyte investors and state-of-the art intermediate and advanced classes for those more experienced investors, including classes like these:
- Small Company Discovery: Mark Robertson
- Follow Your Stocks: A Monthly Analysis Tool: Bob Adams
- Good Company! Good Investment?: Herb Barnett
- Introducing STOCKcentral: Joe Craig
- There Is a Time to Sell: Mary Ann Davis
- Don't Gamble: Invest in the Best Growth Companies: Phil Keating
Take a look at the corporate sponsors who will be participating in InvestEd 2007, as well: CVS Caremark Corporation (NYSE:CVS), Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A), The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG), The Shell Group (NYSE: RDS.A), and Yum! Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM). This lineup of excellent companies is another example of the high quality of this event.
ICLUBcentral is proud to be participating in the event, as well. I'll be teaching four classes and giving personalized demonstrations of ICLUBcentral software in the computer lab, along with ICLUBcentral staff members Dan Abraham, Per Ostman, Irving Roth, Robert Brooker, and more!
But don't delay! The early bird rate of $369 ($359 if you are a StockCentral member) won't remain in effect forever A block of rooms at the event hotel, the Costa Mesa Hilton, are also being held for attendees at the special rate of just $129 plus tax. I encourage you to register now if you plan to attend -- registration is limited!
For more information, visit the InvestEd 2007 web site or the InvestEd 2007 Forum on StockCentral. And then register online!
See in in Costa Mesa this August! |
