SkyWest, Inc., ticker symbol SKYW on the NASDAQ, is a mid-sized company based on FY2005 revenues of $1.964 billion. It is in the Airlines industry. SKYW is also covered by the Investor Advisory Service as of the August 2006 issue, and is rated 2 for quality (on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being highest).

SkyWest is the nation's largest independently owned regional carrier, and is currently hosting recruiting sessions throughout the country for personnel to serve its expansion. It will celebrate it's 35th Anniversary in June 2007. Peter Lynch always advised to 'buy what you know'. I bought Skywest. It's been good to me.
