I found this to be a thoughtful article on EWBC: http://www.smartmoney.com/barrons/index.cfm?story=20080522-east-west-bancorp-ewbc&afl=yahoo I generally agree with its analysis, and will be buying more EWBC now that the shares have reached $12.35. The current slide is clearly related to the southern California real estate prices continuing to decline ... something I'm betting will turn around in the next few years.
