I need help. I am unable to update either the prices or the data in TK5. Chances are the support has expired. I don't find that info any where. Who can come up with a solution? I am no longer a NAIC member.
Thanks for any help
Leonie

Leonie, You can use the Stock Central Data Base instead of S&P. Just go to 'Preferences" in TK5 ; then to "File Locations' then 'Data Subscriptions' in the drop down box, enter "IClub Data File'
This assumes you are a member of Stock Central, however I assume you are, or you wouldn't have been able to post on the website. The data base is from Hemscott rather than S&P and the data base is included with your Stock Central subscription price.
You can read about the differences between Hemscott and S&P on the home page on the upper left under 'Announcements'. Also your timing is good, as Joe Craig will be leading a workshop on a study done by Ellis Traub beginning Monday, March 10. This will cover a study of the differences & similarities between the two data bases.

The answer is ... click on your name, click on Subscriptions, and delete the subscriptions by clicking the X's.
But, I've done this for you!
You "subscribe" to threads and forums each time you click a check box to be notified when someone posts a message. You can always monitor these and delete them by clicking your name (while in the forum) and then Subscriptions.
Cheers! |

Thanks for the help.I switched to Stock Central updates when I joined it. When I went back into TK5 recently, there was an update available. I let it install and thereafter, the whole thing worked again like a charm.
