Lowell,
Updating prices depends on Yahoo. It would appear that they've changed something. I'd expect this to be addressed tomorrow when the ICLUBcentral developers get back to work.
As for updating companies, I just tried and was successful. Please try again and let us know what happens. |

Joe,
Toolkit and Take $tock are now working. I was able to update both databases.

For Stock Analyst, you will have to manually download SSG files from StockCentral.
For new files, just clicking the appropriate SSG link from StockCentral should download the file, open Stock Analyst and then open the file.
If you want to update files for SSGs you've already created try this: 1. Create a directory called SSGs on your desktop 2. Manuall download files into the SSGs directory 3. Start Stock Analyst and do File, Update 4. Select the option to update from files on your computer, select the SSGs data file, select all of the files and then click the update button. |

The ticker for comcast is CMCSA, i tried and it works on data page. We should have a ticker lookup function maybe on the data page. We'll add that to our list of feature requests. Please let us know if any other questions/troubles, thanks!

Sally,
SSG files are neither compressed nor encrypted. You don't need to try to expand them. I think that all that you need to do is start up your Churr program and then File, Open the SSG file.
Hopefully Brad Taylor is paying attention here and will give you a better answer. (If not, I'd suggest that you ask for help at churr.com) |

May we enter recurring events, e.g., chapter meetings, in the calendar? May we enter Investment Club meetings into the calendar? Is there a plan to configure Stock Analyst to directly use Hemscott America data? |

Ann,
Use the ICLUBcentral web support request to ask that this be done for you. Alternatively, you can go to myiclub.com, login, and change the password yourself. There isn't a place here on StockCentral to do that. You use the same username and password at myiclub.com as you do here. |

Hi - I use SA3 and cannot update prices (or data). I get the following message: # of companies too great - (No) already up to date - (No) not in data base - (No) corrupt (?) or format (No) The only way I can update is to delete the company then add it again, in which case I get updated data but lose all my input. Any ideas?

Donna,
Sorry for the delay. For assistance with SA, you'll need to contact ICLUBcentral's Technical Support Department. |

One correction to that...don't go directly to that link.
Start here:
http://www.iclub.com/support/default.asp
Most folks can get quick answers to their questions with our frequently asked questions section.
When there are announcements about service outages, new updates, or other important alerts, the support page will let you know.
Again, don't go directly to "enter a question" without checking out the basics first. Chances are the answer to your question has already been posted.
Thanks,
|
