The Undervalued Stock in this month's Better Investing magazine is Allied Capital (ALD), but it is not included in StockCentral's Hemscott database and therefore also not included in Take Stock online

Why is it excluded?

Hemscott considers ALD to be part of the "Closed-End Fund - Debt" industry, and we believe that the Stock Selection Guide is not an appropriate tool for analyzing closed-end funds. Thus, we've eliminated closed-end funds from our coverage on StockCentral.com.
