Is there a way to download or at least view average data about a company's Industry Group (ideally the same data in the same SSG format as for the individual company)?   Thanks.

No, but we'll soon be adding a sector/industry research center to StockCentral. It will feature a handful of key ratios and averages to start, but we can expand it later if you're looking for some other data. It won't be downloadable in SSG file format, but you will be able to compare the companies to their peers directly.
