Comparing StockCentral's ex-dividend information (Tools | Research Links | View Dividends) for WAG with what's at http://www.earnings.com/company.asp?client=cb&ticker=wag , I notice at StockCentral that the Declared Date isn't always present. Since the information is sorted by that date, the dividends are not completely in chronological order (making it appear at first glance that some are missing). The same is true with some others I checked (MSFT, GE, PG). Perhaps it would be better to soft by Ex-Dividend Date?
Also, for UTIW and INFY, the dividend amounts don't agree between the two sites. For INFY there are no Declared Dates at all, so the data is in no particular order at all.

Hi Jim, We will have the default sort set to ex-div date shortly. The errors w/ UTIW and INFY will need to be investigated further and we'll comment here when we have more info/the fix. Thanks for noting these errors and please let us know if you find any others. Dave |

| We have removed the 'declared date' field from the results and sorted by ex-div date. Is this sufficient or is there a reason you'd want the declared date data? |

>Also, for UTIW and INFY, the dividend amounts don't agree between the two sites. For INFY our div data on the research links page does appear to match google finance, but not yahoo. I don't know why. I also note that our ssg data (and the 'data page' report) does not list any divs for 2004/5, which is incorrect. It is incorrect in the data provided by hemscott in this case and we will notify them. For UTIW, hemscott appears to be missing the $.06 div in april of 2007, we will notify them. The rest of the div data appears correct to me and matches google. Please let me know if you think our data for these two is still incorrect, or i have not understood the problem(s), and we will investigate further. I'll post here when these items are fixed. Thanks! |

Comparing with http://www.earnings.com/company.asp?client=cb&ticker=INFY, it appears that the dividends listed by StockCentral are split-adjusted. It might be worth adding a notice to that effect near the data so people comparing with their transactions in club accounting won't get confused when the dollar amount in CA doesn't match what's listed on your web page. -Jim Thomas |
