I once ran into a couple of gals from a local club in the library using Value Line and discussing the SSG.  I was there for the same use.  When I approached their table and asked if I might borrow the version they were not using, I commented on the familiar SSG.  They seemed suprised thatthere was anyone else around in NAIC.  I answeered a couple of questions they had and moved on.  Later one of them asked if I would be interested in addressing their group and explaining the SSG.  I agreed to do this.  What I did was select and industry the women might find boring - automotive parts.  I searched and found Auto Zone (AZO). (2000 @ $22.00). I created a completed SSG, copied it onto an overhead and went through all the steps giving them only some information at a time and asking them to complete the data on their own sheets. (also gave them a copy of Value Line).  This took about one hour and told them I was not an official instructor for NAIC nor was this a recommendation.  I ran into one of the women several months later.  They bought 6 shares and held them through the $80.00 market a few years later.  Don't know why they sold - if you've seen the price today.  MY BLOOPER, I did not buy for myself.  Sure wish I had.

Irina - apologies this is so late.

I teach classes about once a year on basic SSG, and use the BI workbook for reading assignments. Then I hit the highlights of the reading section with Powerpoint slides and walk through examples.
