The main focus of InvestEd 2007 is the classes. Here I'll highlight three of our outstanding corp of instructors!
Classes begin bright and early on Saturday morning at 9:15, and don't end until Sunday afternoon at 5:20. There a five parallel tracks, and there are twelve sessions. So ... you'll get to pick the 12 classes you attend from a menu of 60 choices.
I hope that you get to attend one of Phil Keating's classes! Phil has never forgotten a single number that he's ever seen! Phil is a professional in the investing industry, so he brings the insights of an insider to his classes, but he does so with a down to earth flair. Phil focusses on fundamentals and the story behind the numbers.
On somewhat the opposite side of the spectrum, put Bart Womack on your list. Bart's an acedemic -- he's a teacher and a good one! Bart will be teaching classes about cash flow analysis, retirement planning, and Social Security.
I've never met Maury Elvekrog, but I have read his writings for years. Maury shared authorship of the Repair Shop column for many years with Ralph Seger. And, his name is inextricably linked to Ralph through their firm, Seger-Elvekrog. What I didn't know for all of those years is that Maury is a psychologist! Maury will be presenting two classes that discuss the psychology of investing.
Now, having highlighted just three names, I'm sure that I've slighted several dozen other teachers! You can read about all of them, their credentials, and get a head start on their classes at the InvestEd 2007 website. Take a look and start planning your personal InvestEd 2007 education now! |
