My name is John Cwynar, the assistant financial partner for the South Towns Investment Club in Orchard Park, NY. Our club currently has 4 partners who have subscribed to Stock Central for a year. Our club has also decided to purchase a stock central subscription (the 5th 0ne) for our Portfolio Manager. Can I purchase the subscription and register it in the name of the portfolio manager and pay for it with my personal credit card? We also use CAO; do I have to use the same registration info for Stock Central as was used for "myiclub registration" for the portfolio manager?
I need a quick answer because I then want to take advantage of the free offer for the online tax printer. Is there a 12/31/07 deadline on the free tax printer offer?
Thank You & Happy Holidays!
John Cwynar (Assistant Club Treasurer)
PS: I've asked the same question of iclub support but not sure if that was the proper forum for it. |

John, ICLUBcentral's Support Staff will be able to answer your questions, but I'll try ... I believe that you need to have separate email addresses for the 5 subscriptions. You can certainly purchase the subscription and register it as you see fit. I would use the same username and password that you currently use for myiclub, unless you have a complelling reason not to do that. It'll at least save your remembering a second username/password combination! And, I sure do hope that you and your club members are finding their StockCentral subscriptions useful. |

You didn't answer my question pertaining to the free offer of the tax printer with 5 club subscriptions to Stock Central. Is there a deadline on this offer?
Thanks

My apologies, John. I must have had visions of sugar plums dancing in my head ...
In any event, here is the word, straight from the last issue of the StockCentral Gazette. The "other way" mentions no deadline ...
THE BELL TOLLS FOR THE STOCKCENTRAL DISCOUNT
As our fragile celestial sphere hurtles irresistibly onward towards the inevitable conclusion of yet another circumnavigation of the Sun, this reporter would be derelict in his duties to not remind you, dear readers, that the year 2007 is not the only vestige soon coming to an auspicious end.
Yes, 31 December is the final day to use your StockCentral Discount to purchase the Federal and State Club Tax Printer software. At present, StockCentral Members can acquire these valuable tools at $59.99/each -- a $30 savings off the retail price. But after the stroke of midnight on 31 December, the price shall increase to $69.99.
This is no time to dally, rather, it is the time for initiative. Sharp's the word, and quick's the action. Pre-order your Tax Printers today, and be sure to enter your StockCentral membership information upon checkout to receive your discount.
Of course, there is another way to save on your Tax Printers...

Yes, there is a deadline - if you view the home page at www.iclub.com, same as the $30 discount for StockCentral members. However, since you've brought up your intention to get 5 folks on board, I'd be glad to extend that while you get members signed up. Just mention this message when you send in your form. |

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate your offer to extend the deadline for us. We have 4 members signed up and only need to get our Portfolio Manager to sign up at the expense of our club to make five. Unfortunately, he is out of town and out of touch until this coming weekend. I will get him to sign up ASAP. Is there a way to obtain the free tax printer offer online or is it only possible through the snail mail. For example, could I fill out the form and attach it to an e-mail ??
Thanks Again for your quick reply. You guys are great

Snail-mail is the way to go, but no worries - you'll have it in well in time to do your taxes.
