Is this something that would bother a long term investor? Premium valuation is a known. Revenue seems strong at 20%. EPS increased over 16.4% year over year. Q over Q was flat. My previous est were at 15% sales and earnings growth. New store openings grew at 21% also. Rated a buy at $32.40
Revenue for the quarter was $2 billion, up 20 percent from $1.66 billion in the same period last year, and slightly shy of analysts' estimate of $2.02 billion.
For the full fiscal year, Starbucks said it earned $564.3 million, or 71 cents a share, up from $494.5 million, or 61 cents a share, in fiscal 2005. Before the accounting change, the company said it earned $581.5 million, or 73 cents a share in profits, up 18 percent from $494.4 million, or 61 cents the previous year
Starbucks opened 2,199 stores during fiscal 2006, boosting its worldwide store total to 12,440 |

| In my humble opinion, a 16.4% EPS growth doesn't justify the PE. Our club holds it, but it makes me nervous and I've recommend selling some of our shares to take some profit. But, I'd certainly be interested in hearing other opinions. --Lynn |

| Has it grown to a significant precent of your portfolio? On my SSG I est 15% and it's in the hold position. Not a buy unless it goes under $32.40 |
