I'm browsing through the forums, and for some of the longer topics I switch the drop-down menu to show Newest First instead of Oldest First.

I don't think this is something everyone would necessarily want or need, but can this be put in as part of the personal profile ? A selection there to say "always show Oldest First" or "Always show Newest First" would be a nice addition.

Thanks,
Sean

That feature is already there.  Click "My Profile" and then "Edit Profile" and look under "Preferences."

The options available are:

  • Sort Posts   (Oldest or Newest first)
  • Show Replies
  • Subscribe to Topics
  • Jump to First Unread Post

There are so many "whoops" smiley faces available, I don't know which one to use to show how silly I feel for not having seen that. I guess I was too busy getting my pictures in place.

Many thanks,
Sean

To add a picture to your post, you must first upload it to the "Gallery" and then you can insert it into your message.  This is fairly easy to do!

When you are writing a message, look for the "Insert Image From Gallery" button.  It's on the lower of the three horizontal toolbars, just to the right of the emoticon button (the zippered smiley face).  Click that button, navigate to the Userimages folder, then upload your picture to that folder.  Then select it and click the insert button.
