I used the link Joe provided for the STOCKcentral free trial to try out the free trial link at ICLUB.  No worries there - recognized my typical username/password and directed me to (not logged in) STOCKcentral.

In creating this post, however,  I notice that the 'create link' button still doesn't work - I had to create the link to STOCKcentral above by hand in the HTML pane.  When I press the 'create link' button a window pops up and allows me to enter the link, but no link appears.

In addition, the 'insert image' link doesn't work properly either.

I'd suggest we either eliminate these buttons, or find out what the issues are, and why they aren't working properly, as it will only serve to confuse and irritate the masses when STOCKcentral is released to the public.

Hmmm...the other buttons work:
Insert Date: Thursday, September 28, 2006
Insert Time: 4:36:08 PM
Insert Rule:

But I still don't like the fact that when I put in an emoticon - - the window refreshes, and takes about 10 seconds to redisplay in Firefox.  Very odd behavior, as it actually puts the emoticon in, and only after that does it refresh the page, and make me think I lost all of my post!

Yes, my earlier email was intended to get you ready for something that isn't quite ready.

For STOCKcentral, "success" will be defined by Brian White and Nancy Isaacs not having a gripe with the way that things work.  I really do appreciate the very constructive criticism that everyone is providing.  Brian and Nancy are especially constructive in their criticism!

You need to highlight the text for the link, and then press that button.  Then you enter the URL and the proper link is formed

In addition, the 'insert image' link doesn't work properly either.

Correct, and soon I'll remember to remove that button.

I need to reduce the list of emoticons and/or change the editor ... and I will do one or both of those ...
