When I check "Mark Read," I don't see old threads that I've read - as long as there are no new messages in them. However, if there are new messages, I see the ones I've already read. Can that be changed?

No. If there are new messages then it's now unread. That's the definition of unread.
There isn't an "ignore this thread" option. Would you like to see something like that down the road? |
