Another Investment Education Opportunity
Hi !
The NIA and BetterInvesting are proud to remind everyone of BetterInvesting's official event for 2007. The BetterInvesting National Convention (BINC) will take place in Dallas, TX from June 21 - 24, 2007. We would love you to join the BetterInvesting community for this outstanding event.
This will be the 56th National Convention and it is geared to long-term investors. There are already over 500 registrants, so this is the place to be to strengthen your fundamental investing knowledge. Our event incorporates computer skills and computerized tools to help you learn how to recognize quality growth companies at a fair value.
Many of our nationally known instructors will be returning this year, along with some very special new instructors. Our attendees have told us that the quality of our educational offerings is second to none.
Come join us and learn from superb teachers such as Mary Ann Davis, Gary Ball, Cy Lynch, Matt Willms, Ann Cuneaz, Jim Thomas, Gretchen Hurt, Ron Bruyn. Dennis Genord, Avi Horwitz, Anne Uno & Shanna Rendon and many others.
The event consists of two and half days of seminars and a corporate day with Corporate presentations, our famous Investors Expo, our SSG walk-in clinic with knowledgeable instructors, and well-known guest speakers, such as Matt Krantz, financial columnist with USA Today, on Friday, June 22nd. We also will have our computer lab open, and of course, BINC@Nite!, our after hours gathering.
For chapter directors who are attending, we offer a special discounted rate for the event that includes a full day of training (starting midday on June 20th and continuing through midday on June 21st). This training is not only for attendees who help teach others about fundamental long-term investing, but also includes training to enhance your computer skills and your chapter administration skills. We also have sessions on how to teach several of the official BetterInvesting software tools.
Please visit the BetterInvesting website, www.betterinvesting.org, or contact LaDonna Leyva (LaDonnaL@betterinvesting.org), event registrar at 1-877-ASK-NAIC ext. 1365 or feel free to email me directly at avi.horwitz@niaboard.org for more information.
Mark your calendars, and plan to attend the most successful and informative fundamental, long-term investing conference.

Hi Avi, glad to see you join us on the Village Green.
Both InvestEd 2007 and BINC 2007 are firmly in the tradition of the NAIC misssion to: "Proactively provide a program of sound investment information, education and support that helps create successful lifetime investors." .
Two national event in 2007, rather than one, will surely benefit our fellow members. Bottom line: Two events, rather than one, provides the availability of more top level offerings in investor education. That means more members will become better grounded in fundamantal, long term, investing philosophy. Here is the view of InvestEd 2007.
InvestEd is long-term investing education at its best, and it’s coming to southern California on the weekend of August 17, 2007. InvestEd 2007 continues the cherished yearly tradition of peerless national investment education events for investors who use computers and electronic communications.
InvestEd is the same volunteer corps of superb nationally known instructors and savvy computer folks that’s produced incomparable events for the past 16 years. The InvestEd 2007 roster of star instructors includes Bob Adams, Mary Ann Davis, Joe Craig, Bart Womack, Phil Keating, Zinc Zeenkov, Doug Gerlach, Pam Wright and many more favorites.
InvestEd takes great pride in our comprehensive curriculum that reaches out to investors at all levels of expertise. There’s the Newbie track for neophyte investors and state-of-the art intermediate and advanced classes as well as Volunteer Education (VolunteerEd) seminars to improve chapter director skills.
Presentations by software developers and corporate representatives offer investors direct access to current information about products and the status of companies. InvestEd 2007 welcomes a wide array of investing software developers and their innovative products – including Manifest Investing, ICLUBcentral and many others. Learn what all of the buzz is about and seize the opportunity to familiarize yourself with tools that may very well become an important part of your investing know-how.
Test drive software and find answers to your questions in the very best hands-on computer lab for investors – bar none. Skilled tutors, including the software developers will staff the lab to help you learn more about the programs you own, and those you are thinking of owning.
The mix of new and updated classes attracts first time and repeat participants eager to improve their investment and computer skills, enjoy the camaraderie, and explore unique areas of the country. All InvestEd 2007 activities take place at the Costa Mesa Hilton Hotel located in coastal Orange County, California.
Attendees consistently rank our team’s national events as the best-run, highest quality, and enjoyable investment education events that they ever attended. InvestEd 2007 promises to uphold our reputation as the mecca for long-term investors who covet good quality and good value investments and who demand high quality and good value investment education.
InvestEd 2007 registration includes approximately 60 seminars, unlimited computer lab visits, free wireless internet access, and all meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch. Attendees receive handouts for all classes in hard copy (if you register by the deadline) and CD format, and additional educational material on the CD. Corporate presentations, numerous door prizes, and the chance to win a computer are part of the package.
Immerse yourself in top-notch classes, computer lab sessions, corporate presentations and endless stock analysis discussions during a weekend filled with good times and fun thrown into the mix. Moreover, you’ll encounter the friendliest, helpful long-term investors on the planet. Mark your calendar and plan to attend InvestEd 2007 on the weekend of August 17, 2007.
Our web site is http://investor-education.org/2007/ More and more information will be added on a continuing basis.
Disclaimer: InvestEd 2007 is not an NAIC event, and it is neither sponsored nor endorsed by NAIC or its BetterInvesting brand.

Zinc
