Is there a way to blow up the screen shot for "First Impressions" to read what the window says. One other question is this a move to merge SA and TK? I see where they are adding charting capabilities for dividends and cash flow etc. Looks very promising.

See the main page at iclub.com. They aren't selling it yet, but it's promised in a week or two.

Went to order the TK6 and only had a downloadable version option. I want the disk, when will that be available to order?

Got it ordered, thanks Doug.

Will this version be able to be compatible with  other versions when sending ITK files or will we still have to send as SSG  file extensions? Before we couldn't share the notes section.

From the below mentioned site... "NEW: Share stock studies and discuss your conclusions with like-minded investors in the StockCentral community, all from within Toolkit 6. (StockCentral subscription required.) "

In the .0 release, at least, you won't be able to share notes in the SSG file format, but we can check to see if it's possible and add it in an update.

The way that the StockCentral integration works in the program, though, is that you can type a message (which could include all your notes) right within the program, and the program will upload that message to the appropriate forum on StockCentral *and* include your stock study in *.SSG file format, all at the same time. So the effect is much the same as having notes in the SSG. (Since anyone can read the StockCentral forums, instead of emailing a stock study, you could just email them the link to the StockCentral forum and they could download the stock study from there.)

Yes, it really is nice.  Besides uploading your stock study, you can access the ticker forum for the company you are studying with a click or two.  You can check what's been posted, ask questions, etc.

Can Toolkit 6 be loaded to work side-by-side with Toolkit 5 or does 6 have to replace 5 as an upgrade? I'd like to look at 6, but since the rest of my club is still on 5 and we sometimes do demos from my PC, I don't want to abandon 5 yet.

Yes, you can have both TK5 and TK6 installed on the computer at the same time.

Doug would know better, but,  I would assume both TK 5 & 6 would be compatible as far as sharing files. I doubt the layout has changed much so would running both be necessary?

Peter, TK6 will directly import your data from TK5, and you won't have to delete TK5.  TK6 retains the look of TK5, but has a lot more available in advanced features.   Gene Rooks, SWIM, Orlando

Order from http://www.iclub.com/.  It's not a BI product.  It's an ICLUBcentral product.

Technically, the program isn't shipping yet, but is scheduled to ship "in September."  So, you'll be pre-ordering ...

Toolkit 6 is available now for pre-orders only. We expect it to be released in just a few more days. You can bet that when it is released officially that we will let everyone know about it!

You can learn more about the program, and download a demo of the program (when it's available), here:

http://www.iclub.com/tk6

Toolkit 6 is not endorsed by Better Investing, so it is only available for purchase from ICLUBcentral. It includes modified versions of the forms used in Investor's Toolkit 5, updated to bring them closer to the 21st century.

It adds additional functions, including many of the previous "rogue keys," and integration with StockCentral.com.

I just ordered TK6 a couple of days ago.  I have been using SA and have Prospector, but seldom used it.  It has been a long time since a major upgrade, and it does not appear one can be expected.  So, I'll change to the TK6 and use the iClub screener instead.  I am recently retired so I'll have more time for it now!

You can uninstall Toolkit 5.  I would wait until you've verified that your data migrated successfully.

I ordered the disk, can I delete TK 5 from programs once TK6 is installed?

I may have missed this but are there any compatibility problems if I buy TK6 but most of my club still uses TK5?

Thanks

You shouldn't have any problems doing that!
