| In the 2006 Annual Report, the Goodwill ($7,870 M) exceeds the shareholder equity ($5,306 M). The company acquired 14 companies during the year. Goodwill for Titan was $2B approx. Could the wise experts out there in stock central world please comment on their reaction to this. I just attended a class where they said companies that have goodwill exceeding equity were ripe for bankruptcy. Thanks. |
