Certainly you can expect immediate dilution. However, they will probably
earn interest on the cash until used elsewhere, and to the extent they reduce
interest expense, they will be reducing that dilution. Once they buy something
new (equipment, business, whatever) they should generate more income. Long term?
Short term? I have no idea. I don't follow XTO and so can't provide any
additional insight.
