What forms do I need to start an investment club in NY?

Hi Ignatius,

There is a plethora of information to help you start an investment club, and sample club operating procedure documents available here:

http://www.iclub.com/clubs

I do not think there are any special additional requirements for forming a new NY state club, but I will ask one of our experts and confirm that.  Once your club is up and running you will need to file yearly federal and state tax forms for your club.  The Investment Club Accounting software provided by us (e.g. myICLUB.com) makes both the accounting, and the tax filing (including NY state tax forms) a snap.

Please let us know if you have additional questions at all, or would like additional advice during the Investment Club formation process, thanks and good luck!

Dave
