Some of you might not be aware that the Complete Roster of Quality Companies is now available, and updated weekly here at StockCentral.
The Complete Roster of Quality Companies uses Take Stock to evaluate the "quality rating" for each of about 8000 stocks, and ranks them according to quality.
If you happen to subscribe to StockCentral, you can check the Complete Roster on a weekly basis with just a few steps:
- Browse to StockCentral.com
- Click Tools
- Click Take Stock (if you bookmark this page, you can skip two steps next week!)
- Click the link in the left column for the Complete Roster of Quality Companies
- Click the header of the "Take Stock Quality" column to sort in decreasing order of quality.
- Click the Take Stock link for a more detailed view of each company or click Report or SSG. The latter downloads an SSG file to your software.
- (Optional) Click the "Download Excel Report" to download to Excel or Open Office, or to a text file

What day of the week is the Roster of Quality Stocks updated? I am using Investors Tool Kit 6 which has the Roster of Quality feature. Is that portfolio automatically updated each week when I update other portfolio prices and data.

The Roster is updated each weekend on StockCentral.
Toolkit 6 checks to update the Roster once a week; when you start the program, if it's been a week since the Roster was last updated, it will check and then download the current Roster. This means that the Roster that you see in Toolkit 6 may not necessarily be the most recent listing, depending on when you last downloaded it.
However, we are working to adjust this for a future release -- we want to display the date of the Roster that's in your TK6 and/or to allow you to refresh the Roster listing automatically.
