Synovus Financial Corp., ticker symbol SNV on the NYSE, is a mid-sized company based on FY2005 revenues of $2.811 billion. It is in the Regional Banks industry. The company was included in the Complete Roster of Quality Companies for July 2006, with a Take Stock Quality Rating of 6.3.

I have personally owned Snyovus for quite a few years.  Attached is my latest SSG.  Am getting ready to analyze the annual report and decide whether to buy more, as in buy range in my SSG.  I read there are some issues with Total Systems (TSYS) that they own.  They are considering the best ownership structure to facilitate their expansion.  A lot of SNV's income is from TSYS.  Actually, one of the reasons that I bought the company to begin with was that Total Systems seemed to do so well.
