BAC will remain in the portfolio even though it has not held it's price through this quarter. Most of the problem is "Mr Market". "Will the Fed raise/lower rates?" , "Will the subprimes hit the big banks?". BAC is positioned to weather these short term outlooks and should not be too adversely  affected by them. this is not the first time any of these problems have caused consternation in the economy. A healthy 4% yield will buffer any price drops in the short term. trading at 11 times earnings and a payout ratio of less than 45%.

I used growth rates of 8% which seems reasonable with historical considerations. Current PE of 11 seems to give it room to grow. I used conservative numbers of 12 and 9 times projected PE's. This holds the best prospects with a UD Ratio of 6/1. I used a low price of $45 which gives a 10% cushion on the chance of a price drop.

At this time not much to update I really like many don't know what to expect from BAC with the credit upheaval. On a good note BAC has increased the dividend by 14% recently. Warren Buffet is reported to have increassd or taken a position in BAC, usually he won't dip into the unknown so I assume he has done his homework and sees potential. As for the 25 stocks to own portfolio, I will let the dividends add to my position. I really don't know what to estimate forward earnings until I get a clearer picture of the financials, (group).
