Tomorrow is the last day to register for InvestEd at the early bird rate of $369 ($359 if you are a STOCKcentral member). June 1, Friday, the rate increases to $399, if we have space available. I encourage you to register now if you plan to attend.
Highlights:
Newbie Program: As in years past, we have a special track for Newbies. The description of the sessions is available on the InvestEd web site:
http://www.investor-education2007.org/newbie-program.shtml I encourage you to share this information with those who are new to our fundamental long-term investing approach. Additionally, we've had some of our former Family Youth Program families ask if the Newbies Program was a logical step for their young adults. The answer is a resounding yes!
Instructors you won't find at any other national event:
Dan Abraham http://www.investor-education2007.org/dan-abraham.shtml
Maury Elvekrog http://www.investor-education2007.org/maurice-elvekrog.shtml
Doug Gerlach http://www.investor-education2007.org/douglas-gerlach.shtml
Mark Robertson http://www.investor-education2007.org/mark-robertson.shtml
Irving Roth http://www.investor-education2007.org/irving-roth.shtml
Ellis Traub http://www.investor-education2007.org/ellis-traub.shtml
... and of course additional favorite instructors: Bob Adams, Mary Ann Davis, Phil Keating, and our huggable Zinc Zeenkov. And more:

The full session schedule can be viewed here:

DirectorEd is a 6-hour program on Friday afternoon for those who volunteer their time and talents to teach others.

Corporate Presentations: Moog, CVS, YUM brands, Enerplus Funds, General Electric, Royal Dutch Shell, and Procter & Gamble. Procter & Gamble will also have an exhibit table. So will the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Software Developers: Churr Software, ICLUBcentral, Manifest Investing, and Stockfundas will all be represented and available to talk with you. They'll demonstrate their products, and likely offer discounts.
Computer Lab: Yes, we'll have it, and it will be staffed with knowledgeable helpers and software developers.
CyberCafe: Officially Saturday night (while the lab is also open), but you'll find fellow investors walking around the area, probably with laptops, on Friday night, too.
And finally, Community. The focus we've had while creating events for 16 years. Past event attendees recognize it, and return year after year. New year, new name, same well-loved community. Join us.
Please visit the web site. Event registration is available online, or via fax or phone. Pass this information along to friends who would be interested in spending a couple of days to substantially increase their investing knowledge, evaluate stocks in a group setting, and have the time of their lives.
As in past years, we’re selling the notebook computers we purchase for the event. The price is $1,050 for a great notebook.

Did I mention we're in Costa Mesa, CA? Sun, fun, and beach. Stay an extra day.
I hope to see you in August. Please let me know if I can answer any questions.
Kind regards,
Pam |
