Joe, I don't know about rates, but there are several large first class hotels in the hub near the airport, and access roads to the major highways to all other points desired for side trips. I feel sure they would have ample meeting rooms. Give me another week or so, and I'll see if I can call a few for best times for good rates. I would say Orlando would be great weather most any month besides July, August, and September, which can be sweltering to northerners. January through June would be good times to avoid school or holiday conflicts, though most potential attendees probably don't have kids in school. Gene.

No one would be disappointed with InvestEd helded in SPOKANE, WASHINGTON. Spokane earliier this year sponsored the World Skating competition with great success in our newlly expanded convention center which now wraps itself around a highrise motel with enough rooms there or within short walking distance to handle the 500 to 600 attendees. The convention center is at the end of a huge park with river flowing thru, the former World's Fair site. Enjoy the 100 lakes within 100 miles. Take a look at the recent Forbes Magazine, I believed they rank Spokane as number 3. Put Spokane there and you will find the prices more than reasonable! Spokane "International" Airport recently finished a complete remodel and expansion with new screening areas and shuttles that will wisk you to your favorite place of stay. Come check us out this weekend, as Mark Robinson will be one of our featured speakers at our investment fair! Ken Jeffrey

I too vote for Orlando FL, but prefer March or April to the summer months for obvious reasons!! EArly May or October/November are also good months down here. An alternative that's attractive is Baltimore or Philadelphia... almost anytoime of year, though the summers there can be hot & humid as elsewhere.

Subject: InvestEd 2008 location
For 2008, we're blessed with a choice of two outstanding facilities in two outstanding cities and states.
Our selection of the location depends on a variety of cost factors including guest rooms, AV and Internet, food and beverage, and airfare.
We're negotiating with these two facilities, and will announce our selection for the home of InvestEd 2008 when we have signed a contract.
In the meantime, what we can announce is that our dates are August 8 - 10, 2008, and we will be producing the 2nd annual InvestEd in either Louisville, Kentucky or Charlotte, North Carolina.
Stay tuned. We'll provide you with details as soon as we have them.

Selfishly, I would like the West Coast, specifically San Jose or Northern California.
